I was the kid with a million different dream jobs…
And I tried a few out!
I find beauty in the journey of both the user and the business, and aim to find the sweet spot in the middle. My focus is data driven design, using research to find solutions to problems that have yet to be visualized or considered.
Took this shot when I was 15. I wanted to be a photographer at the time (still love photography).
My first job in New York was to walk around the city to shoot street art and document the locations for a startup website, that ultimately was never released.
The peach cake with blue-grey flowers was the first buttercream cake I ever made.
Made this guy out of bread in pastry school.
Second cake I ever decorated. Obviously, I love abstract, funky and quirky things.
Sugar sculpture for funsies.
Fun at work (mid-making chocolate bonbons with a strawberry ganache).
... aforementioned chocolate bonbons
Cleaning out the chocolate tank.
This bonbon was a fun experiment with my fellow makers and became our family meal for the day. That half is roughly the size of a human face.
Captured this image while in Toronto to shoot an episode of Donut Showdown on the Cooking Channel.
Shot this during a rehearsal for a client event we threw in NYC at Rockwood Music Hall.
Probably the best photo I've ever taken, and will be the cover image for a single the pictured musician will soon release.
